Le Corso is a 3D animal film resulting from a surprising protocol. It consists in producing a natural environment by adopting the initial attributes of a digital space that were traced using composition software: The forms and movements of the elements and protagonists are subjected to typical speeds and modeling in a space which suggests the strange coexistence of hybrid animals (which are more or less like goats), mobile commercial logos, a mountain in the form of Tatlin’s tower and The World, the artificial island of Dubai, which is set in the center of a duck pond. A whole digital ecosystem unfolds, where each image results from the modeling of another, which is itself already a commodity, and is subjected to the laws of a radical metamorphosis, in what one could call a kind of science-natural-fiction. • Christophe Kihm, Artpress
